The calendar features monthly comics, funny horoscopes, stupid stories from the news, and more than a thousand celebrity birthdays. Detroit Comedian Carl Hardin Introduces Legally Stupid Laughs

Detroit, MI September 30, 2004 - comedian Carl Hardin introduces his new Legally Stupid Laughs 2005 Big Fun calendar. The calendar is the first in a line of Legally Stupid productions planned by Carl Hardin and his Detroit based publishing company, Hardin Laughs. It features cartoons based on Carls humor, and was introduced at a special premiere party on Friday, September 24, 2004 in Detroit.

Five years in the making, the Legally Stupid Laughs Big Fun calendar includes a legally stupid cartoon for each month of the year, featuring Ellis, a man of questionable race, and intellect, and his solid gold pup named Spot (just because Ellis liked the name). Ellis has friends of all races, and he has a unique way of bringing out the confusion in all of them.

The calendar features stupid events from the news, because as comedian Carl Hardin often notes, real life can be funnier than fiction. Also, with more than a thousand entries, it probably contains the most diverse collection of celebrity birthdays of any calendar on the market. From Joan Collins to Bootsy Collins, from Demi Moore to Melba Moore, from Sly Stone to The Rock, it may not have Eddie Money, but it does have 50 Cent!

In addition to including the traditional holidays, the Big Fun calendar also includes dates of minority significance, such as African-American History Month, Chinese New Year, Cinco de Mayo and Juneteenth. It also highlights special entertainment and sporting events planned for 2005.

Comedian Carl Hardin, the creator of the calendar, will be promoting it extensively throughout the country. Carl Hardin has been involved in the comedy business since 1989. Some of his more significant accomplishments include productions with nationally recognized comedians Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Tommy Davidson and Mark Curry.
